Most compact mechanical Pump/Trap with lowest filling head. Very simple linear inlet/outlet piping makes this PowerTrap® an ideal condensate discharge solution for small size process equipment vulnerable to stall conditions. Highly durable internal parts for long service life. Trap discharge capacity up to approximately 2100 lb/h, and pump discharge capacity from 300 lb/h (at minimum filling head).

GT10

GT10 Specification PDF (245 KB) Specification

Mechanical condensate recovery pump. An integral steam trap makes it suitable for condensate removal from equipment that experiences fluctuations in pressure from positive to negative pressure. No need for construction of electricity supply. Low running costs. Maximum discharge capacity of approximately 17,500 lb per hour.

This is the compact version of the GT10. Operates with a lower filling head than the GT10. An integral steam trap makes it suitable for condensate removal from equipment that experiences fluctuations in pressure from positive to negative pressure. No need for construction of electricity supply. Low running costs. Maximum discharge capacity of approximately 3,390 lb per hour.

Merits and featuresBenefits and Features

Energy Conservation
Recovers and transports condensate in order to recycle heat energy and water resources.
The snap-action mechanism rapidly switches between sending condensate to the mechanical pump and transporting the condensate, preventing delay-induced leakage of motive medium (steam, air).
'Stall' prevention
The steam using equipment installing the control valve has a tendency of 'stall' phenomenon, resulting process temperature swings, water hammer or tube corosion. By installing PowerTrap this stall phenomenon can be prevented.
Easy to Operate
The GT series has an integral steam trap, making it suitable for condensate recovery from equipment that experiences fluctuations in pressure from negative to positive pressure.
The unit is powered by steam or air, so there is no need for electrical facilities, which makes it suitable for use in explosion proof installations.
Designed to allow maintenance without being removed from condensate recovery lines.
