Heatpack supplies temperature-controlled hot water
TLV Euro Engineering (Cheltenham, UK) - 2012/04/11
TLV Euro Engineering has launched its Heatpack range of packaged heat exchangers with capacities from 120 to 2,350kW.
The Heatpack is designed to supply temperature-controlled hot water for clean-in-place, low-temperature hot-water and domestic hot-water applications.
The compact system offers a choice of two stainless-steel heat exchangers to suit a variety of site conditions, specifications and system requirements.
Both plate and tubular heat exchangers offer an instantaneous response to load fluctuations.
The tubular design can be used with higher steam pressures to eliminate the need for pressure reduction, even with high flow rates.
The choice between pneumatic or electric valve actuation and between various component materials like cast-iron, cast-steel, stainless-steel or SG iron, make this system adaptable to a variety of hot water needs.
The frame-mounted, ready-to-install package also reduces the floor space required and onsite installation time.
Additional standard features include: independent high-limit cut out; safety-valve protection; bellow-sealed isolation valves; and, depending on the process and plant conditions, a condensate-removal system based on TLV's free-float steam trap or Powertrap pump.
