SR-B Series High-Temperature Waste Water Heat Exchanger
High-temperature waste water such as boiler blowdown flows into the top of the exchanger through the nozzle. At the same time, cool water enters the heat transfer coil from the bottom and flows upward.
The steam that enters the exchanger with the waste water is cooled upon contact with the coil and condenses. The waste water pools in the exchanger up to the height of the overflow outlet. Both the steam and waste water thus transfer heat to the cool water, making its temperature rise.
After transferring its heat, the waste water is expelled through the blowdown/waste water outlet.
