Automatic Judgement of Inspection Results
Automatically performs a simple judgement of steam trap operating conditions and whether there is internal seat leakage in valves installed on fluid piping. Also effective for confirming valve closure.
Steam Trap Operation Inspection Results

Valve Internal Leak Inspection Results

Bearing Inspection
By measuring shock pulses generated when bearing damage has occurred or when the rotating machinery is not sufficiently lubricated, you can understand the deterioration condition. Use this for collecting data for daily trend monitoring.

Reading RFID Tags
To read an RFID tag with the PT3, link with the CMRecorder mobile app, then position the RFID reader (located near the LED on the bottom of PT3) close to the RFID tag.
* RFID tags cannot be read from the Digital Stethoscope located on the top of the unit.

User-Defined Fields
Integration with the CMRecorder mobile app allows users to set custom measurement types with user-defined fields. This is useful when you want to measure and log vibration acceleration levels or surface temperature at inspection points other than steam traps, valves, and bearings, or record other specific information to match site requirements.
Digital Stethoscope (Audio Monitoring)
PT3 allows users to listen to sounds from the inspection target by connecting Bluetooth earphones. Surface temperature and average vibration acceleration level can also be checked simultaneously.
* Make sure to use a safe volume level when listening via Bluetooth earphones.
PT3 Features
Measures Vibration and Surface Temperature Simultaneously
Both an ultrasonic sensor and a temperature sensor are built into the probe tip. Vibration acceleration and surface temperature are measured at the same time.

Automatic Start, Automatic Stop
Simply press the sensor against the measurement target to start measuring automatically. Measurement ends automatically after a set period of time.
* The power must be ON.
* In Bearing measurement mode, measurement ends when the sensor is removed from the measurement target.

Recharge via USB Cable
Rechargeable via a USB Type-C cable.
Up to 3 days of continuous use on a single charge, and can also be used for firmware downloads.
