Benefits and Features
Automated measurement and data transfer
iT5 Series monitoring sensors automatically test the condition of steam traps and other equipment by measuring ultrasonic noise and surface temperature, or temperature and pressure of internal piping, at set intervals. They send that data to monitoring systems through wireless or wired connections.
Intrinsically safe
Sensors and repeaters are protected from water and dust by IP66 and IP67 rated enclosures (IP67 rated enclosures only on ZB models), and the data station by a IP40 and IP54 rated enclosure. All models are suitable for outdoor installation.
Your choice of wireless or wired data transfer
The iT5 Series includes the IS and ZB models, which wirelessly transfer data using different technologies, and the FF model, which offers wired data transfer. Up to 8,000 ZB model sensors can be connected to one data station, and IS and FF models can measure at intervals of as little as one second. This variety allows you to customize your data transfer method based on your appliance, installation environment, and measurement requirements. The FF model offers the reliability that only a wired connection can provide.
Simple sensor mounting and removal with dedicated mounting brackets
Easy installation. No additional machining is required and the bracket fits a wide variety of equipment and piping.
Collected and stored data can be viewed remotely
Data measured at the site is collected and stored on the server and can be viewed remotely. The server can also be connected to commercially available network equipment and existing systems.
Full range of peripheral products
Repeaters (intrinsically safe explosion-proof), data station (flameproof explosion-proof structure) and other devices required to configure the monitoring system are also available.
