Pocket TrapMan® PT3 is a versatile inspection device that can automatically diagnose steam trap operating condition, as well as internal valve leakage, based on simultaneous temperature and ultrasonic vibration measurement.
PT3 can also measure shock pulses generated by abnormal bearing conditions in rotating equipment such as pumps. These shock waves, caused by surface damage or insufficient lubrication, are quantified as vibration acceleration levels and displayed in dB, enabling objective condition assessment.
Compact and portable, the PT3 supports routine inspection and operator-driven maintenance by providing reliable, on-site diagnostic data.

Stable and accurate measurement
An internal bandpass filter suppresses ambient and external noise, allowing stable and highly accurate ultrasonic vibration measurement even in noisy plant environments.

The large reflective LCD ensures clear visibility in daylight. An integrated front light provides reliable screen visibility in low-light and nighttime conditions.
Linkage with the dedicated CMRecorder™ mobile application for simple reporting
When used in conjunction with the CMRecorder™ application, measurement data obtained with the PT3 can be recorded, stored, and managed efficiently.
The application allows maintenance and reliability engineers to manage and report on inspection findings, enabling standardization of inspection and maintenance workflows.
