Optimising Steam Systems: A Risk-Based Approach
Steam systems play a critical role in most industrial plants, accounting for significant energy consumption and being deeply integrated in the manufacturing process. Ensuring the robustness of steam equipment and networks is crucial for plant efficiency, operational reliability and environmental impacts. This symposium highlights a contemporary approach to steam system optimisation using a risk-based approach.
Attendees will:
- Understand the developments in risk-based optimisation of steam systems for plant reliability and decarbonisation.
- Gain in-depth insights to energy savings achieved by optimising steam system operation and maintenance.
- Hear case studies from different process industries addressing decarbonisation and risk mitigation of steam systems.
Practical Applications: Symposium Concepts in Action
SSOP®: Steam System Optimisation Program
Enhance Your Plant's Performance
Steam System Optimisation Program (SSOP®) is TLV’s flagship assessment service, a sustainable asset management program that continuously optimises the performance of the entire steam system through visualisation.
SSRM®: Steam System Risk Mitigation
Innovative Risk Assessment for Steam Systems
As an advanced feature of SSOP®, SSRM® quantifies and mitigates risks in steam systems. Our approach leverages asset integrity specialists to enhance system reliability, prevent costly equipment failures, and optimise energy use for savings.
