Steam and Condensate Training Seminars
Every month TLV trains hundreds of steam users worldwide either in TLV Classrooms or on-site on best practice methods to manage steam and condensate systems.
More than 300 workshops and seminars are held annually, covering topics such as steam basics, trapping principals & applications, and effective energy utilization. For advanced steam users, training on steam and condensate piping design, control theory and waste heat management is also available.
Special workshops are also organized where plant managers and other key personnel are invited to exchange opinions and discuss new ways of optimizing their steam system.
Strengthen Your Skills
Create a strong foundation that strengthens problem-solving skills and enhances plant safety awareness by reviewing applied steam engineering principles.
Learn Through Experience
Learn interactively by manipulating product cross-sections and participating in live demonstrations that help visualize thermodynamic concepts.
Apply Your New Knowledge
Discover new ways to reduce energy costs through case studies that help quantify energy and monetary savings, and then apply these principles to your system for improved efficiency.
TLV is happy to announce our schedule for three new webinars to be held during October – December 2020.
Increase Energy Savings Through Condensate & Flash Steam Recovery
|Date & Time|
|Friday, November 13
11am - 12pm EST
|Increase Energy Savings Through Condensate & Flash Steam Recovery|
|Andrew Mohr & Jack Pearson|
There is still high value heat energy (BTU$) available after your steam turns into condensate. Recovered and returned condensate’s value is far beyond the cost of water.
In this webinar we will examine recovering condensate in both single-phase & two-phase systems, pumping options, and how to recover and utilize flash steam and atmospheric vent steam.
Eliminate Hidden Risks in Steam Supply & Pressure Reduction Systems
|Date & Time|
|Friday, December 4
11am - 12pm EST
|Eliminate Hidden Risks in Steam Supply & Pressure Reduction Systems|
|Jim Risko & Tracy Snow|
It is a common myth across industry that saturated steam headers are “dry”. However, reality could not be further from the truth.
Join us as we look at steam quality considerations, and how to improve the condition of the steam feeding your process equipment, through condensate drainage and entrained moisture separation.
We will also explore pressure regulation, different types of pressure reduction valves, and proper design of pressure regulation stations to ensure optimal steam quality & stable downstream pressure.
On-site seminars are available to interested parties unable to attend courses held at the TLV training facilities. Qualified trainers can visit your factory and offer customized training tailored to the needs of your steam system.
* Seminar content and availability varies per location. For detailed information on training in your area, please contact us.
