Proper winterization will protect your steam system and critical steam-using equipment through the season to minimize steam- or condensate-related problems in production, help prevent plant downtime, and keep the system in good condition come spring! Here are just a few of the ways to winterize your plant:
- Inspect steam traps for leaks and signs of wear
- Replace leak-prone steam traps with energy-efficient Free Float® models
- Insulate applicable steam traps and exposed runs of steam delivery piping

TLV exhibits at FOOMA 2024
TLV had the opportunity to showcase our latest technology to more than 113,000 attendees at FOOMA Japan 2024, the world's largest comprehensive food manufacturing exhibition.
The TLV booth was based on the “Steam Support Center” concept, and the main feature was SQ-C04, a compact version of the SteamAqua® steam-fired water heating unit. In addition, HeatSaver™, an energy-saving condensate and flash steam recovery system, was on display, and our steam specialist engineers were on hand to introduce the award-winning iBPSSM.net® monitoring service.
We were delighted by the overwhelming interest our solutions received and all the questions that customers had for us. The event was a fantastic opportunity to connect with steam users and TLV customers alike, and to engage in insightful discussions on steam and maintenance solutions.
